Ongi, Welcome, Dilin Dalan, Oyez, Sing good people in this encounter with pure tradition, ethnomusicological travel, sound transformation and electroacoustics!
The ancestral percussion, Txalaparta, rediscovered by the Artze brothers, dialogue with those of the orchestra and those of Alex Grillo's MIDI xylophone connected to a sampler. Befiat Axiary's singing is inspired as much by tradition as by contemporary creation, both in spirit and in form.

Jean Schwarz (1939-)

Jean Schwarz, born in 1939, is an “elder” of INA grm.
In his career he has composed for the shows of Carolyn Carlson, Maguy Marin, Larrio Ekson, Françoise Dupuy, Serge Campardon, Petrika Ionesco, Bartabas, for the cinema: the films of J.-L. Godard, S. Moati, G. Blain, A. Resnais, A. Cavalier... and has collaborated with many jazz musicians.
Co-author with André Francis of the record boxes “Trésors du Jazz” and “Jazz Characters”, 500 CDs “Le Chant du Monde” 2002-2010.

Ongi, Bienvenue, Dilin Dalan, Oyez, Chantez braves gens lors de cette rencontre avec la pure tradition, le voyage ethnomusicologique, la transformation des sons et l'électro­acoustique !
Les percussions ancestrales, Txalaparta, redécouvertes par les frères Artze dialoguent avec celles de l'orchestre et celles du xylophone MIDI d'Alex Grillo relié à un échan­tillonneur. Le chant de Befiat Axiary s'inspire autant de la tradition que de la création contemporaine, que ce soit dans l'esprit ou dans la forme.
